Organoids are rapidly becoming a powerful tool for both basic research and drug discovery, spanning a wide range of biomedical applications including oncology, regenerative medicine, disease modeling and drug screening. These three-dimensional (3D) organotypical structures can be grown in vitro to produce miniaturized versions of the organs from which they were derived.
